WHO AM I?
Years of Experience and Proven Results
From an early age, I have had a deep interest in music. In elementary school, I began learning television jingles by ear and would play them back on my small, one-octave keyboard. At age 12, I began taking music lessons through a program at my church, giving me the chance to study piano and learn basic music theory. When I was 17, I attended The Bass Collective, a school in New York City founded and staffed by bass players who are active in today’s live music scene. It was at the Collective that I had the honor of studying privately with jazz bassist John Patitucci. I also have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Jazz Piano Performance from The New School in New York City. In my professional career, I have had the opportunity to play with various gospel choirs as well as mainstream artists in major venues including Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall. I have performed on television with The Christian Cultural Center Music Ministry, Peter Cincotti, David Foster, Charice, and Condola Rashad, as well as Billboard Chart topping artist, Flo Rida, and have had many opportunities to travel and perform all across the United States, and also internationally in countries such as The Philippines, Finland, Italy, Nigeria, Zambia, Jamaica, The U.K., Japan, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey, and Brazil just to name a few. I am also featured on many recordings, not only as a bassist and keyboardist, but as an arranger and composer as well. I have performed both on and off Broadway for shows such as “In The Heights”, “Hot Feet”, “Dreamgirls”, and “SHIDA”. In recent years, I was on tour with Peter Cincotti promoting his album "East of Angel Town" released on Warner Bros. Records. I am currently serving in the music ministry of Christ Church, a multi-cultural mega-church with two campuses, in Montclair, NJ, and Rockaway, NJ. At this season of my life, it would be my honor to give back to others who are hungry to learn, as I was when I first began my journey in musical learning.
